Mom Special : Malai Thadka

This is one of the most easiest dishes to make and tastes yummy with Parathas.

Malai Thadka


Ingredients :

  • 2 Chopped Onion
  • 2 Chopped Tomatos
  • 2 Green Chillis
  • Cooking Oil
  • Malai ( Cooking Cream)
  • Haldi (┬áTurmeric )
  • Salt

Preparation :

  • Heat the Oil
  • Add Chopped Onion and Green Chillis
  • Once the Onion are Brown, Add chopped Tomatos.
  • Add Haldi and Salt.
  • Add Malai, Heat for 2 minutes.
  • And You are Ready with Malai Thadka.

This might look bit too simple, but believe me this is one of my favorite dishes with Paratha.


Mom Special : Bread Pizza (without Cheese)

It has been time since I last posted any Food recipe, here is my way to apologize. Last some months, Mom and Dad are at home with me. This has been one of the best time in recent time. And now that Mom is here, Chef Jagdeep has gone to relax mode. ­čÖé

Here we are making┬áBread Pizza, which actually one of my favorite dish that Mom makes. From now will try to post some of my mom’s favorite dishes along with some of my experiments. For now enjoy the Bread Pizza.


  1. 6 Slices of Bread
  2. 1/2 Cup of Cream (Malai)
  3. 1/4 Cup of Semolina (Sooji)
  4. Vegetables
    1. 1 Onion
    2. 1 Tomatoes
    3. 1/2 Capsicum
    4. 1 – Green Chilies
  5. Salt/Pepper to taste

  1. Mix all the vegetables with Cream and Sooji. (Sooji helps to bind Cream and Vegetable together)
  2. Apply the Creamy paste on Slices of Bread
  3. Heat the Slice of Bread with the Paste on Pan.

Done. Your bread Pizza is ready to Eat.

There are number of Experiments you could do with this. You could add number of add-on like small pieces of cooked chicken, Boiled Corn, Carrot, if you do like Cheese go ahead add some on top of this.
